Prior to founding Kaava, Marcy spent many years in New York City’s Silicon Alley as a new media veteran.  As the internet began to grow and flourish in the mid-nineties, Marcy was a pioneer in online magazine launches for companies such as Hearst and Hachette Fillipachi, and served as the lead producer for AOL’s Kids and Family Channel, and iVillage’s Parent Soup.  Marcy left the new media world when her daughter Chloe was born, and brought her entrepreneurial expertise to the table as she partnered with Nicole on the conception of tinyguides.  She brings to tinyguides a vast business knowledge coupled with a keen parenting sense that drive her desire to provide the best in educational and entertainment programming for children.
